Trinity invites you to join us as we volunteer for a few hours in support of this incredibly important local non-profit here in the Sandhills!BackPack Pals provides backpacks full of nutritional foods for children in Moore County Schools, who are otherwise food insecure, for the weekend.
Hundreds of children leave school on Friday afternoons and have little or nothing to eat until they return on Monday morning. “ BackPack Pals” sends these children home with Back-Packs filled with items to get them through the weekend.
We don’t judge why kids need us.
We just fill the need.
The BackPack Pals provides 1100 kids from 28 local schools, with weekend food. Our goal is to provide these kids with the reassurance that they won’t go hungry over the weekend and that someone cares! Join us as we do what we can to fill a very real need in our area!
