Dr. Matthew H. (Matt) Stillman became the new Senior Pastor of Trinity Christian Fellowship on Sunday, January 10, 2016, upon the retirement of Dr. Al Hill, Trinity’s first Senior Pastor.
Dr. Stillman is credentialed by the Evangelical Covenant Church and has served most recently as the interim pastor of Zion Lutheran Church (LCMC). Prior to that, Dr. Stillman spent more than 10 years as the Senior Pastor of St. Paul’s Evangelical Covenant Church. Both congregations are in York, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Stillman has also served as the Area Director of YoungLife in York, Chesapeake, and Woodbridge, Virginia; and while studying for his Master’s Degree he served as Youth Pastor of St. Luke’s of the Mountains Episcopal Church in the Los Angeles area.
Dr. Stillman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and History at Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina; his Masters of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California; and his Doctor of Ministry in Historical Theology at Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Stillman and his wife, Cheryl, a neonatal nurse, have three adult sons and one daughter-in-law.
