Volunteer Registration Opens Today for Charlotte
Would you like to help take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth? Volunteer at one of our Operation Christmas Child processing centers in November and December.
After shoebox gifts are collected during National Collection Week (Nov. 13-20), we rely on thousands of volunteers to inspect, pray over, and ready each gift for international shipping. Praying With A Purpose
for the 2023 Young Life Banquet
Tuesday: Pray for high school and middle school students involved in Young Life and WyldLife who come to the banquet. Pray for their enthusiasm to be contagious, their serving to be heartfelt, and their stories (shared by Reagan Massey and Max Pashley) to be communicated with clarity and passion. (10/23/23 @ 9 am)
Wednesday: Pray for the room to be filled with people (200-250) who love teenagers, want them to have the best life possible, and have the capacity and willingness to support Young Life financially. (10/23/23 @ 10 am)
Thursday: Pray for the Fair Barn staff, Holly Neal and her team. Pray for Paula and the team at Southern Q as they prepare the food. Pray for the kids that will be serving the meals. (10/23/23 @ 11 am)
Friday: Pray for the program; that every aspect (4 C’s demonstrated by kids, banquet prayer done by Matt Stillman, program led by Elizabeth Oettinger and Lucy Noble, our speaker Rick Palmer, and the financial appeal presented by Bailey Vaughan) is done with excellence. (10/23/23 @ 12 pm)
Saturday: Pray for the details that go unnoticed until there’s a problem; for the sound system, lighting, music, etc. to be perfect. Pray for our sound tech Roger Ward. (10/23/23 @ 1 pm)
Sunday: Today, rest and give thanks to God for the gift of Jesus Christ and Young Life’s mission to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. (10/23/23 @ 2 pm)
Monday: Pray for the banquet committee and all those who volunteer their service; especially Kate Davis, Keri Van Scoyoc, Shirley Vaughan, Susan Pashley, and Kacy Depenbrock. Also, please pray for our staff and volunteer leaders. (10/23/23 @ 3 pm)
The prayer of a person living right with God
